Yesterday was kick-off day for SEC Football... well as far as SEC Football is concerned in our house; Alabama Crimson Tide vs the Virginia Tech Hokies. (B has finally learned to roll her arm while saying ROLLLLLLLLL TIDE! Her daddy is soooo proud.)
Anyways, we decided to stay home for this game instead of joining friends. We were all ready with Hubby & B in their Alabama shirts, Sports Center on the new TV, dinner consisted of chips & salsa, chicken fingers, pizza followed by ice cream... I mean really how much more could you ask for?! B & I spent the end of the 1st quarter & entire 2nd quarter getting her ready for bed while Hubby kept "vigil" in the recliner... B & I ended up finding our way to the couch and both were asleep by halftime (believe it or not hubby never got loud enough to wake us up... how sweet of him! guess he knows how grumpy his 2 girls are when they are woke up) but when we did awake we were very glad to hear that the Crimson Tide had beat the Hokies... Hubby was very happy too. So here's hoping the rest of the season is as good.
